PT Soars at the Train Gym

Personal Training at the Train Gym in the Great Eastern Hotel is up by over 20% since the refurbishment of the facility in October 2006.

Situated near Liverpool Street Station in London and part of the Hyatt International Corporation, the five star hotel is currently undergoing a programme of work to upgrade and improve its facilities.

The new machines installed in the gym include seven cardiovascular products from the 95 series, all with attachable screens, four pieces from the Signature series, three Hammer Strength Plate Loaded machines, a piece from the Pro2 series, a Cable Motion Dual Adjustable Pulley (DAP) and a selection of free weights.

John McCulloch, Fitness Manager of the Train Gym, says: “Many of our guests are business travellers or work in the City, so they expect the highest quality equipment and levels of service. The DAP has been particularly popular as it enables such a wide variety of exercises to be performed.”

John adds: “There are nine Personal Trainers based at the club, and we’re delighted that business has increased significantly over the last few months.
