New Home Fitness Equipment Aims to Satisfy the Rising Demand for Home Gyms

A new range of cardio vascular fitness equipment that brings health-club quality workouts into the home has been launched today by Life Fitness, the leading manufacturer of cardiovascular and strength-training equipment.

The launch of the new treadmills, cross-trainers and cycles - home versions of popular health club models by Life Fitness - are a response to the growing demand in the UK for home gym equipment.

The new Life Fitness T7-0 is a completely new addition to the Life Fitness range of treadmills.  Extremely durable the treadmill is designed to inspire exercisers to reach their fitness goals and enjoy their exercise routine.

Striking design aesthetics combined with unmatched customisation and personalisation options, the T7-0 is as unique as its user. From the adjustable FlexDeck® Select adjustable shock absorption system and programs that record and remember your every move, to the 18 programmable options - more than any other treadmill in the range - it is highly versatile too. The T7-0 delivers a workout that is just what you want it to be.

Jeremy Navrady, Marketing Manager, Life Fitness, said: “We designed the T7-0 to be the perfect treadmill for the home. The beauty of this machine is that with its personalised workout settings and custom workouts, you can actually design it to be the perfect treadmill for you.”

The T7-0 is the perfect complement to the other models in the Life Fitness T-Series led by the T9i and T9e, the market leading luxury models based on the commercial gym products.  The T9i and T9e are the ultimate treadmills, unmatched in the market.  Among their many luxurious features, the T9e even offers an advanced LCD entertainment touch screen with a built-in television receiver so that you can keep up with your favourite programmes while you work out. The T9i and T9e are fully-loaded dream machines that deliver the kind of workouts once reserved for world-class athletes and health club patrons.

Other changes to the T-Series include updated T5-0 and T5-5 elite models which replace the T5 and T5i respectively.  Each one has improved quality, restyled console display, better sound insulation and new Life Fitness programming that make them even easier to use.

As well as the new treadmills, Life Fitness has also unveiled a new updated version of its luxury elliptical cross trainer the X9i.  Performance tests have proven the X9i to deliver the purest, most natural elliptical motion and the best elliptical technology. Now the X9i has new styling, a new graphics display and colour scheme. Presented in Arctic Silver and grey the subtle tones make this an even more stylish accessory to the home.    And with its improved industrial design and display graphics this best selling cross trainer just got even better.

Life Fitness has also updated its X3 and X3i entry level cross-trainers with the X3-0 and X3-5 while the SX30 has been replaced by the X1-5.  Each model is presented in new pewter and gray colours and has improved industrial design, enhanced performance and improved assembly and instructions.  They also feature new Life Fitness programming.

Jeremy Navrady said: “When you want a health club-quality workout, but can't make it to the gym every day, the X-Series Elliptical Cross-Trainers are the ideal choice. Our premier elliptical machines offer the same smooth, total-body motion as our world-renowned health club model with their dual offset crank linkage system. These interactive models help you stay in your target heart rate zone during many different workout programmes by using the Lifepulse digital hand sensors or the Polar® heart rate monitoring system.”

To complete the new Life Fitness cardio vascular range, the Lifecycle exercise bike range has also had a make-over.  The C3-5 now replaces the old SU70 while the C1-5 similarly replaces the SU30.  In the recumbent Lifecycle exercise bike range the R3-5 replaces the SR70 and the R1-5 replaces the SR30.

Each new model features the smart new pewter and gray colours and has improved industrial design, enhanced build quality and product performance and new Life Fitness programming.

Jeremy Navrady said:  “We estimate the global home fitness market will grow by up to 30 per cent over the next five years. And our new range of products are responding to that demand.

“Our customers buy our products because they are the best and this new line confirms why they are the best.”
