Life Fitness Launches the Future of Fitness
The ultimate motivator for today’s exercisers is now available from Life Fitness. The Virtual Trainer Web Site puts users in complete control of their workouts by giving them the power to plan, customise and track their training programmes online.
Designed to link exercisers and equipment, the Virtual Trainer Web Site allows users to organise and store data from their cardiovascular workouts, which is saved on a USB device via the integrated USB port of the new Elevation™ Series Engage™ and Inspire™ Consoles. This interactive tool makes it simple for users to view and track their progress from a computer, as well as create personalised workouts to use on any Life Fitness Elevation Series products (Engage and Inspire Consoles only) at any time.
“Research shows that exercisers who use the Quick Start option are more likely to get bored and finish their exercise sooner than those who opt for more varied workout profiles,” says Bob Quast, vice president of brand management for Life Fitness. “The Life Fitness Virtual Trainer Web Site makes it easier for exercisers to access more engaging workouts and provides feedback on progress, which is essential in helping exercisers continue their fitness journey.”
Exercisers can use the Web Site to plan regular workouts on a fitness calendar and create programmes best suited to their fitness needs. It means users can ‘get on and go’, by simply plugging a USB device into the equipment’s USB port and selecting the desired programme created on the website. The machine then automatically adjusts to the chosen workout.
The Life Fitness Virtual Trainer Web Site also enables facilities to enhance their personal training offering to help clients reach their fitness goals. Trainers can use the Web Site to design personal web accounts to store tailored workouts for clients and track their progress between sessions. Facilities can also purchase Life Fitness-branded USB wristbands.
“This innovative solution offers the kind of advanced fitness technology that gives facilities a competitive edge,” says Quast. “It engages both the body and mind, and empowers exercisers and trainers to take workouts to the next level. This is the future of fitness.”
Registration and access to the Life Fitness Virtual Trainer Web Site is free for facilities, trainers and exercisers. Visit www.virtualtrainer.lifefitness.com for more information.
