Life Fitness announces changes to sales division
Life Fitness has announced a number of new appointments within their UK sales division. The changes are part of a restructuring strategy which will unify the Key Account and Core sales teams.
Murray Rudkin will now be responsible for both the Key Account and Core sales teams across the UK. Starting at Life Fitness in 2001 as Territory Manager and then progressing to UK Sales Manager before becoming UK Sales Director, Rudkin adds, “Our strategy is to create a united sales team with specialists in each market segment. This will enable Life Fitness to add value to our customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations, and assist them in tackling their business challenges”.
Richard Burden will now lead the UK Key Account team. With an operational background from Fitness First, David Lloyd and Esporta, Burden’s knowledge and experience in the sector will help the Key Account team to ensure operators create businesses that engage their customers and boost revenue.
Jon Bennett has been appointed UK Commercial Sales Development Manager in a newly created role focussing on Life Fitness dealer partnerships across the UK to maximise sales of Certified Pre Owned equipment. Bennett will also be responsible for account management of Life Fitness partners providing finance, design and build, and demographic analysis solutions to customers. With nine years experience at Life Fitness Jon Bennett explains, “This move will ensure our customer’s needs have a tailored solution package. It will allow us to drive our complete range of consultation services in addition to the supply of equipment, both directly and through our dealers”.
Nick Mennell has been promoted to the role of Territory Development Manager for the Midlands. Mennell will manage the sales team across the region and continue to work closely with Local Authorities and Trusts, and further develop education sector relationships.
Dan Wille, Vice President and General Manager for Life Fitness UK Ltd, adds “I have no doubt that all will be very successful in their new roles and will help drive our UK commercial sales to ensure we meet our 2009 targets and beyond.”
