Life Fitness has devoted its considerable experience into designing the new high-tech software solution called Vivo. The new connectivity solution is set to boost retention and improve your customers experience from start to finish.

Vivo works by helping instructors prescribe a personalised workout to a customer using a PDA. Customers are given a special Life Fitness Vivo PIN number. They tap this into the screen on Life Fitness equipment - including cardio vascular and strength equipment - and are given their workout program. The computer then records their speed, weight, distance and time. Those statistics can then be viewed instantly by gym instructors on a PDA or PC and by customers on their website.
"Vivo puts 5,000 customers in the palm of the gym manager," adds Claire. “The gym manager can see who has come through the door, what they are doing and when they are missing a session. It increases interaction between the gym instructor and the user."

PDA-based functionality and wireless connectivity enable trainers, coaches and instructors to add, edit or review the content of a workout program with a member anywhere in the facility.
