David Lloyd Leisure and Life Fitness Renew Partnership
Life Fitness is working in partnership with David Lloyd Leisure to equip 26 of its health and fitness clubs by the end of the year.
Recently appointed preferred supplier for all cardiovascular and freeweight equipment at David Lloyd Leisure, Life Fitness will installing 1,100 pieces of equipment in clubs across the UK and in Europe over the coming months.
This work includes full refurbishments at the Next Generation sites in Dartford, York, Bristol, Ipswich and Chorley and strength equipment trade outs at Next Generation’s Edinburgh and Glasgow clubs. All of these sites are being rebranded as David Lloyd Leisure clubs following the £925m sale of the chain to London & Regional Properties and Bank of Scotland Corporate last year. Four clubs in The Netherlands will also receive new Life Fitness equipment.
Clubs will be equipped with kit from the Life Fitness Classic range as well as the recently-launched Elevation series, which will be used to host group treadmill and cross-trainer classes. Exercise results can also be saved to a USB stick at the end of the workout.
